If it's at all comforting, so far grad school appears to be about drinking. A lot. But I was totally where you are last year, when I was trying to apply and frantically get my shit together. Just don't not think about it to the point where you forget to apply.

And I'm with you on the first relationship thing. I think they're even more terrifying when they work out...

Yeah, most of the grad students I've talked to so far have informed me they spend most of their days on facebook.

I'm honestly thinking of taking a gap year and getting my shit together during that time, as it seems like an ok plan.

And yes, so far it's working out kind of extremely well...which is just confusing. I mean, as well as it can be going with both of us stressed.
