You put so much thought into your construction I must bow down in awe. The color of the thread, for heaven's sake!!! OMG. It is perfection.

The process itself is fascinating -- and in its own right, beautiful. I have a new and powerful appreciation for book binding. (And here I didn't think I could love books any more than I already did.) Thank you thank you thank you for sharing this!

Pardon late comment - I'm here having followed the link in your first post about the book, which I got to from rabidsamfan's link. My late grandfather did bookbinding as a hobby, and from childhood one of my prized possessions was a copy of Alice in Wonderland that he had bound, so I was really interested to see this making-of post. Your work is beautiful, I love the thought and care you have put into it, and thank you for sharing it with the internet!
