The manic feeling dissipated after a couple of hours, thank goodness! My doctor says we increase the Lamictal after June 21, if needful. So far, so good. :)

Neil is off until Sunday. Santa Cruz, here we come! (On Friday, that is.)

Good stuff, I'm glad the Lamictal is agreeing with you. I turned out to be one of the few people that is allergic to it! I heard from an ex-coworker of mine, a pharmacist, that it has worked wonders for many Bipolar folks, though.

One thing..Caffeine and sugar really affect me. I have to be careful with my diet. Caffeine never used to have a (noticeable) affect on me before I stabilized, but now, boy does it ever. I have to limit myself to a couple of cups of coffee a day. And yes, that's limiting myself. LOL. I'm striving for less.

Refined sugars (i.e. "white" carbs) and other sugars etc have an effect on me, too. I have to watch them, and carbs are my favourite. :( But, it's been good for me. I practice mindful eating. I still have "junk" but try to limit it, but not too much so that I don't binge.
