Very nice weekend!

This weekend was our twenty-first anniversary, and we spent it with Helen and Allan in Santa Cruz. We drove down Friday. There was some traffic due to graduations, but it wasn't too bad. The first night, we were all kind of tired, so we went out for Chinese. We played one of the variants of Munchkin

Costco has a lot of amazing values. Thr main drawback is that sometimes, you only need enough for two people, and they sell stuff in allotments for a small army. they're especially good for staples, such as toilet paper, shampoo and laundry soap. We got a fantastic deal on my eyeglasses...MUCH cheaper - by a couple of hundred dollars - than our healthcare provider.
