I've been having a great urge to write lately. Facebook is a little too public and a little too ephemeral. (I would not have told this story on Facebook in exactly the same way. It would be fairly easy for anyone who wanted to, to figure out which Crown and which Kingdom officer and which sanction I'm referring to; while if I *really* minded that I'd friends-lock this, I figure almost nobody I know reads LJ anymore anyway, so why bother?) I'd like to figure out how to use Dreamwidth and then cross-post here--I set up a DW account years ago but never managed to get my LJ to copy over and never did anything with it.

I love this story! I don't think I have ever heard that song... I would like to. :)

Erich doesn't sing it very often. He composed the tune--I had a little singsongy tune in my head when I wrote it, because I always wanted it to be an actual song, but then I gave it to him as he can actually compose, and I can't. See my next entries--I'll put the words in, and also the scroll text Fernando and Lyriel wrote based on it.
