Baern, Reikai placed me in charge of a certain project, of which you were the prime target of investigation.

Pestilence was kind enough to smack me upside the head and cause me to see that I was being terribly rude, drawing you into this plan without first asking you.

However, I have now been removed from the project completely and told not to speak of it further.

Baern, I realise you as a youkai must have a natural hate for me, and I accept that. But please try to understand that we have a hierarchical system the same as you, and sometimes we are made to do things under the guise of orders from superiors that we would prefer not to do. I know you understand the importance of following orders.
