I have just spent $40 I do not have. And I'm fabulously, incredibly, orgasmically grateful to have done so. What, you ask, did I purchase

Wow, just wow. How the hell do you loose a stuffed animal twice in as many days? WTF?
you would think that, after the first time, they'd be much more careful so as not to create just this problem. After all, you would think they would know just how world-shattering that will be for a kid Brynn's age.
I guess the lesson here is, make sure you have something like 50 copies of a kid's favorite toy. that's just not right.
Oh well, if this happens again, I say we stabbity them lots. Who's with me? :P
So sad to hear about George...fuzzyscribbleOctober 12 2007, 14:46:21 UTC
I should bring by my "Grandpa Snoopy" to show you. It's the Knickerbocker Snoopy that I was given as a Christening (sp) present. It's barely holding together now...
I ate off the nose...chewed an ear off...most of him is actually those little "fabric sample" patches you used to get in the Lillian Vernon catalog. He was left outside in the rain for two days...then I baked him in the oven to get him dry. (Child logic...Grandma never should have taught me to use the oven...) Good thing I never had a REAL dog of my own.

Well...any info could just be put into an ebay search. There's plenty of stuff on ebay that says "JC Penny Collection" whatever...maybe eventually another George will turn up...and if it was made by Dakin or one of the bigger toy companies for Pennys...that would make it easier.
There are a few "children's toy" websites out there dedicated to recovering or replacing "favorite blankies, toys...etc" all you need is a photo and description.
