I want my Watch!!

I lost my watch. My brand new, totally awsome, very expensive watch. I loved this watch. I've wanted a really nice one for some time. I gave myself permission to spend my birthday money from my dad on something really nice that I really wanted but wouldn't normally buy...and I bought this watch. Which I love. And which I also managed to lose

I say you go buy a new watch. Then you will find your missing watch. I figured it worked this time, why not try it again?

A few years back my co-worker lost a diamond tennis bracelet. I think it was a 20th anniversary gift...and those babies are worth like 1k on up. Three months later...her auto mechanic found it in the indentation around the female seat belt plug. He went to remove the car seat to vacuum after service...and voila!

But...this was like one week AFTER her husband had bought her a new bracelet. She had some of the diamonds reset into a pendant and earrings and called them her "look harder next time" earrings.

Here's hoping it turns up. Check with businesses you might have passed by while wearing it if you lost it during the day. I take things I find on the street inside stores all the time figuring whomever lost the item will think to ask there. Maybe other people think the same way...who knows?
