It feels like there has been some good, some bad lately. Not to jinx myself, but the ants seem to have given up, yay! And the water meter project seems to be done on my street. I've written several days and am getting myself into the mindset of 'you enjoy this once you start doing it, just do it.'

Just FYI, my youngest sister and family moved to Pollock Pines a year ago and are renting out the Fair Oaks house.

Guess who got evacuated earlier this week? I got a text from her and was getting very concerned when the OTHER sister let me know that everyone's okay and has a place to stay.

We're all keeping an eye on the fire map, hoping their house makes it. It's on the other side of Jenkinson Lake so we hope it will be okay, but it's not a guarantee.

Fire season is going to last all year from now on I just feel it.
