My niece wants to see the What If? series, and we have watched the first episode.

But I'm finding myself having a hard time finishing the series after watching episodes 3 thru 5 all in one evening, where everyone dies. That was so freaking bleak and unexpected to me.

I'm assuming someone on here has watched all of them. I'm just looking for info on

It's sort of like the MCU movies--they get bleak, and bleaker, and then by the last two, turn it all around.

I nearly gave up on the series myself, and teased hubby that the title should have been 'What If . . . Marvel lightened up a bit'

But here's the key--THEY ALL TIE TOGETHER. I know it doesn't seem like it from where you are, but ALL the stories do tie together. So if you're willing to hang in there, it does pay off.
