I felt like I jinxed myself when I posted several months ago that I was able to get out of bed without stopping, because then of course the next day I couldn't. But it's been a good 5 days that I've been able to put the cat food bowls down in the morning without dropping them the last few inches. I can bend all the way, yay!

I thought of you when I heard the news about Mike; mostly memories of us getting Davy Jones' autograph together oh so many years ago. I try not to get depressed when these folks from my childhood pass away but it's not easy. I think it's because my memories of them are as young guys, not older men.

On the other hand, it makes for a great reason to go through my iPod and re-listen to Pleasant Valley Sunday!
