This has been quite the week of self discovery. Starting last Thursday, as in a week and a half ago now, something in just about every aspect of my life screwed me over.

I feel very lost right now. I don't know what to do at all. I have never felt this uncertain about where I am and what I'm doing. I don't want anything. I don't want a girlfriend, I don't want to get involved, I don't want any specific changes at NU. Basically, I don't want to think. I feel crushed under everything. So I went to church today, it being Ash Wednesday and all. Ok so Steph was going and I got inspired. But the point of this is that, though mass itself was a bit wierd to me, all I could think of was "May the peace which passes all understanding fill your hearts and minds now and forever. Amen."

So this morning has been a bit odd.

First, I read this article from the daily where none other than everyone's favorite conservative gives a stupid quote per usual. Apparently courts shoudln't be protecting the rights of a minority (i.e. being "activist courts" in his words) based on our Consititution. Silly me, that's never happened before... ( Read more... )

The Midwestern Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender and ally collegiate conference (ie. MBLGTACC or big gay conference) was awesome awesome awesome!! Fun does not even begin to describe it. It was inspiring, affirming, informative, interesting, amazing, funny and just all around fantastic. I cam back feeling so renewed, full of pride and energy. ( Read more... )
