Yay for revelations. Everything does happen for a reason, and it looks like the reason for the summer thing has been found! Hooray! And yes, I think we should have a giant sex party. In my pants.

Sex drive is insanely powerful. Its what drives our species. I am taking a class on biology, evolution, children, culture etc. and if there is one thing I have learned from that class its that sex/reproduction is what we are made to do. Its crazy!! I think biologically its very natural for you to feel this way, I mean c'mon its human nature. I am glad you are learning! If you ever need advice on boys and/or sex, I am your man (wo) so to speak. ; )

For the longest time, I believed that my sex drive would kick in at the exact moment I met the right guy...HA! Unfortunately, I have a lot more sex drive than I do "right guys."

I am still wondering though if it's best to establish the emotional and intellectual connections before getting physical with someone you're actually serious about. What do you think?

IDeally, yes. However, it doesn't always work that way. It was the opposite for me and Bill. But, I was honest and upfront about my intentions to be in a relationship so that it was out on the table and said that I wouldn't fool around unless it was heading somewhere. In the end, it depends on so many things; the guy, the situation, etc. Basically you have to follow your gut.
