i know that i haven't posted in quite some time; deal with it. Haven't found the will to undertake this task. Well as you know (or should if you have been reading my journal at all) I went to the Alabama gulf coast and New Orleans. Had a great deal of fun. I played in the Gulf with wild dolphins. hey you. Sorry about the whole sleep thing the past two mornings. I haven't felt the greatest cuz carl gave me his sickies.
Anyhoo...I think the catholic church is fine. I understand your opinion of it and you have every right to feel that way. But I mean it's not like anyone is trying to force you to become catholic.
The whole priest can't marry thing has to do with the fact that they are supposed to be married to the church in nothing in their lives is supposed to interfere with their ability to move around and teach people.
I'm not real big on the whole "virgin mary" thing. But it's not my religion so who am I do judge. I'm sure there are just as many protestant clergymen molesting small children as there are catholics we just don't here about it as frequently. I'm sure there are some buddhist, islamic, and jewish officials doing the same thing.
Just curious. What brought on this whole catholic thing?

Well I would have to agree with you. There are just as many prodestants (hell, other religions too) that get their jollies from kids. I understand the married to nothing sacrifice, but would it help stop the problems within the church? That's what I really want to know. Like you this isn't my religion, and never has been, so I'm no expert. That's why I asked for opinions from any Catholics.

BTW I wasn't on at all today.

I dunno exactly what problems you mean. Obviously the catholics aren't complaining. Is it just that we being 'noncatholics' see problems that aren't really there?
