The Mrs. and I just spent 2 hours installing an air conditioner in our bedroom window. Now we find out that the goddamn thig doesn't work. None of the buttons on the control panel work (except the power button I'm told). Fortunately it came with a remote that will adjust things. Another Reason To Hate Walmart

I can't count the number of things that I've bought from walmart that didn't work properly, where broken, or else just simply didn't work at all. Video games, video consoles, box fans, a keyboard, a set of dinnerware with every plate broken, a set of hot rollers, the list goes on and on.
As far as electric and mechanical things not working: i think their policy is that if it doesn't work for one person doesn't mean the next person isn't going to be able to get it working right. who can tell what they are thinking.
I'm still pissed at them for my two and a half hour oil change.
