Hi LJ! I finally found something that's long-form enough for me to post on you, rather than twitter.  You feel like an old pair of gloves; I slip you right on and it's like I never threw you in the garbage in the hopes that the evidence wouldn't be found

I'm the wrong person to sell this pitch to b/c I think Dane Cook is funny (or at least I found his early stuff to be, haven't paid much attention since 2006), but your post had me LOLing. Co-workers think I'm loopy.

Only problem with that is you couldn't do his really well known material (like the alien bit, which is also my favorite of his routines) because even hearing it deadpan, it conjures up memories of him doing the act, which will cause people to think he is funny. If you did his later stuff I think it'd work!

i hate dane cook as a comedian and i'm all for that.

ALTHOUGH, as with andy kaufman you're likely to lose 99.9% of the audience after the first minute. a 15-minute set would be torturous, albeit funny :P
