A Confession... of sorts

Oct 21, 2007 14:39

I’ll go ahead and forewarn those of you who are only watching me for me art, or who are not religious, or not Christian, that those subjects are what this entry are all about. Namely, my religion, Christianity, and the fact that I’m bored to death.

cut for very long rant and if you actually read it all I will be amazed at you )

whining, religion, christianity

Hooray for keeping a hold of what's important to you while you narrow down and identify what's wrong! That takes patience.

It is a sticky patch of thorns ahead, but hopefully it will lead you to a better place.

Uhmm...yeah. Bethany would probably be better to talk to about this than me, and I highly doubt I have anything remotely helpful to offer that hasn't already been said, except...you know you can call me WHENEVER you need to. Even if you just wanna vent. And if you need someone to go church hunting with, I'll go with you. I'll even offer to drive. =)

And I hope you never lose your faith. *hugs*

She can't lose her faith until we drag you kicking and screaming into complete and utter belief of it. I mean...What? *looks innocent* Gah, I miss you two.

The Shepherd said it best before he dies in serenity, "I don't care what you believe in...just believe"...So in point if you have a good are and do good than that's it your good. Faith comes in many forms ...but in all is just to say to do whats right. I'm not an atheist cause I found out you don't believe in god and that separates people still causing the problem. You think to hard HAHAHA. but thats good cause that makes you wonder and question instead of following the straight line. It's ok to stick with what you believe in cause it made you part of who you are. But yeah I would say more but I prefer not to cause it would help as much so it's cool..Also don't worry about responding to this cause I hardly use this journal thing hahahaha. But you know where to find me if you want to chat...If you don't it's DA XD. PEACE!

I had a dream the other night. I was at my grandparent's house in Florida, and I knew two men were in the house. I knew they had short names, somehow, and they felt like brothers, and one of them was tall and lanky, but I didn't know him or see either of them. I simply knew. In the dream, I was sleeping in the other room, and couldn't wake up. I kept trying.. I kept hearing them talk and laugh, but I was paralyzed, unable to pull myself awake. Then the kitchen door opened and I heard my grandfather enter, laughing. I wanted so badly to go to him and I couldn't. I could hear him so clearly... I wanted him to come rouse me so I could see him, but he simply stayed with the two men laughing and sounding so happy. Then I woke up and cried for two hours, wishing so badly I could have simply seen him in the dream. I asked my mother later if my grandfather had any brothers that were passed, and she said yes, but they weren't Christians. I pursued it, asking if, perhaps, there would be anyone who would feel like they were brothers. It turns ( ... )

By the way, just to purely convince you that I really DO think you'll enjoy "What was I thinking?" Here's the blurb from the inside cover: There was a time when I t hought that knowing the truth was enough. I defended it (still do) taught it (still do), and believed that if you got the truth right, everything else would be right ( ... )

First off, DARN YOU FOR TELLING ME ABOUT CRUNCHYROLL. Too many hours of my life are going into that website. Though the fact that Kaneshiro Takeshi is far, far more beautiful than any human being has a right to be may have something to do with it as well. Which also means that I'm being a bad kid and watching stuff other than Glass Mask, but anyway ( ... )

Firstly~~
:huglyness:

I get where you're coming from. ^^

I'm having problems with my church, really. .-. It's all about 'Can /you/ feel the holy spirit!?' and stuff. >>; I have more Intellectual fun watching Mysteries of the Bible on The History Channel. On top of that, my church seems to have completely forgotten that my mum existed when she divorced dad. :rolls eyes: Go figure. But it’s irritating.

…. I can’t match up to other comments DX I fail at life and stuff…. But, anyways…

In my opinion, there’s something, like you said, /mystical/ about the Holy Spirit. But, like you said, no-one has the guts to touch on it. And I can’t phrase things right, Deidara-sempai.

I give up DX

:gives up:
