Wow, so this is my first LJ post since December.
I have a confession, though--I HAVE been on here, mostly to read a few specific journals or keep up with certain communities.
Anyway--what has everyone's favorite moi been up to? Gods, tons. (Cut for those of you who have talked to me in the last year.)(

I wish Christ-as-Liberator had been discussed a bit more in class this weekend. It ALMOST came up, and it would have been lovely to really chew on that. I really do think it's a big part of personal integration for anyone who grew up in that tradition. Mickaharic is of the opinion that one cannot change one's religious affiliation, which I disagree with. But it takes work, time, devotion, and for me doing it in a healthy fashion means having to learn to work with what's already there. Aren't Baptism and the Eucharist just Christian spells to make Kala?
Food, yeah, for sure. I've been turning it over a bit in my head since this weekend, but I'm super curious to hear about your experiences.

i think it's funny as hell to read your description of what RF-dom is, b/c it sounds like the same description of any new RF! "what's a radical faerie? well that's kinda hard to describe..."
did you fight in the Gingham War to free the flag from the pirates?
interesting analysis on the last year, Mary. don't be too hard on your adjustment to the apartment life... I don't think you ever held my bleeding heart in my hand... then again, I had pretty good shields... of at least a hundred miles' width.
very curious to know where your spurritchal life has taken you. but i have a feeling the crossroads will provide that revelation and we will talk about in person.

It's always good to hear a blast from the past and from a fellow survivor of Kip.
I'm glad things are going well for you these days, old friend. It sounds like an exciting time for you!
As you know from my livejournal, things have been pretty good for me the past several years, although 2008 has been shadowed by the deaths of two very important people in my life within a few months of each other. I'm still dealing with that double loss.
The next time you have a free afternoon in Norman, let me know so we can hang together and exult.
