Anyway, my Yule was quite nice. I led sweat, and everyone really liked it. It occurred to me that it was the 4-year annniversary of my very first sweat, and I was leading it! they also did the same ritual as they did four years ago, my first one at Eagle's Landing.
I shall leave behind me the need to be liked by everyone, and the insecurity that I often feel that people don't love me as much as I love them. I love people with my entire heart, and not everyone can do that. So I'll continue to love in my way and let them love me as much as they can.
I love my Clara! Way to go on your sweat, and way to go on leaving that shit behind! What a beautiful step and realization! Other people's lack of love is a reflection upon them, not upon us!

It's good to know you're shedding tears. And what a beautiful way for that pup to die. I'll never forget holding Jezebel in my arms as she died, and the dragonfly that flew by as she exhaled her last. Where do we come from? Where do we go? Touching the mystery of that and easing a fellow creature's passage through that gate is a holy act, my friend. Autumn has a lot of experience in dealing with the grief that comes from your line of work. As envious as I am (gre e e e e n) I am happy you have this job and the succor of the Grove around you.
What I'd like to grow this year? I don't know if I can narrow it down to one thing, when so much seems to have died this year. A healthy relationship with my self, with fun, with exercise and money. For starters.
