Awesome. I liked your thought process. Mine was more like, huh? That's weird. And i imagined the drop off as a huge cliff for some reason. Then they said "Highly dangerous situation." So I assumed that the lion would be easily distracted and come to eat me if I got off the horse, or had the horse go over there. The gazelles in front and the horses behind, well, it didn't seem too dangerous to me, I figured staying right there on the white horse would be the best solution until the situation changed. Then I read the answer, and I thought it was stupid.
Being that I don't get drunk, I didn't really have a common ground with the intended audience. Maybe that's why I tried to work it logically instead of just highlighting the thing. Really, though, if you're suddenly aware of a situation where you weren't before, and it's because of drinking, you're probably just waking up, and you're not drunk anymore. If it's a musical merry-go-round, you're probably extremely aware of where you are, and screaming under the pain of your hangover.
