i don't trust those sites. basically, cause i saw that episode of the x-files called 2shy. i have no problems with going to weddings on my own. i did last summer. although, the most annoying thing was that people were trying to set me up with all these guys that i wasn't intrested in. i don't think i have really high standards. i have no problems admitting that i don't care much for dating right now even when i start to feel the pressure. people ask me why i don't have a boyfriend, husband, or kids all the time. i just think you have to be happy with yourself before you can get into a relationship. to many people think that just getting into a relationship will solve all their problems. when you think about it it causes more. a person who loves you can help you go through rough times, but asking them to solve everything or take control of everything in your life is selfish. wait, i'm not saying that you would do that. sorry, this is just something i end up telling friends when their relationships start messing up. you seem like you

Well, I've got a few years on you and biological trigger may be pushing me to get out and meet folks. I've spent the last 7 years working insane hours and have been too busy to really take note of life passing by. The usual distractions haven't felt very fulfilling, especially I have more unstructured time to burn.
Online services - not a bad way to meet someone..honestly. I have many friends who found eHarmony to be their favorite and who found "the" one. In fact I have attended 3 weddings in the last year due to eHarm.
