I've wanted to get a new digital camera for awhile. My old Kodak DX3600 was a serious brick and at times a real pain in the ass to use due to battery charging issues. It was a 'novice' camera as well, with practically no advanced features - it's basically a point and shoot camera. While it worked alright, I was overall dissastified with it and

Heh, I'm looking at a Casio too. One of these 2: Casio Exilim EX-Z110 or EX-Z120. It's really more mid-range in terms of price. ;)

Yeah, I know ;). I'm spending cash like a sailor in port. It'll be (very) temporary. There are few items that I really wanted to upgrade before my nose hits the grindstone again, a necessary outlet for my frustrations.
