Steeling ourselves

Well, we've finally got 'round to making a start on the recording for Jack Steel and the Starblade, thanks to the joy of discovering that the majority of our "voice talent" was available on Easter Monday.

In the space of about four hours we managed to get 20 out of 35 scenes in the can, including some of the long, exposition-heavy bits so probably

We used three mikes feeding into a firewire mixing desk (the outtake is taken purely from Lucy's channel, so as you can tell they do pick up a lot from the other actors though!) In scenes with more than three people we tried to get those who didn't have consecutive lines to share, but it was a slight compromise :)
