It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds

With myriad complexities
A dazzling monstrosity
A bowed dark head dawns
On an unsuspecting world

Fulfilled perpetually
With internal impossibilities
She turns cold fusion hot
And makes it a reality

And who’s to say we’re better
Or rather, are we worse?
That that bowed dark head is rising
E’en as I write this verse

But if you’d stop to wonder
If your eyes would stray to gaze
Perhaps her eyes would light on you
To enlighten, enrich, amaze.
