[Sophie spots Ed below her, so she politely smiles and waves as she floats down to a hovering level.]

Good evening.

[Unfortunately for Sophie, one of her housemates is a nocturnal alien with a keen interest in the art of flight.

Just as she's trying to make it out the door, Tavros will finally get the nerve to open his mouth and let the awkward spill out everywhere.]

Do, uh, humans normally take cleaning instruments, on nightly trips, outside?

[Startled, Sophie lets out a soft gasp and turns around to face Tavros.]

Ah...no. Not normally.

Oh, okay, sorry, for asking then, I guess I just wanted to, um, clarify, on the nature of your human cleaning rituals.

No. That's quite alright.

I was...going out for a short flight. I practice at night so that I am less of a bother to people around town.

[Sophie halts when she spots France. She gently tells the broom to lower itself until she is floating right in front of the house. She had of course noticed the absence of the younger country in her house, but this couldn't possibly be...]

But you're...

[She looks a little surprised to say the least. Maybe this time she had had her nose stuck in a book too long. Why hadn't she noticed Francis had come back.]

It is good to see you again. [She attempts to smooth out her expression and smile.]

[[Popuri sees the light outside and, just decides to head outside to check it out. Lanterns are rare anywhere, but she's a little worried that it might accidentally be a ghost... But... maybe someone's lost?

And Popuri tries to help when people are lost! She'd hate to be lost too!]]

Uhhm... Hellooo?

[Sophie hears her voice and directs the broom to take her over to Popuri.]

Good evening.

A-are you... a witch? [[Girl on broom... = witch? But, Popuri isn't sure if she should be scared or impressed. It's a young girl, and pretty... so... she's not a bad one, right?

[Sophie looks at the broom carrying her.]

Yes. It is. I haven't gotten the knack for anything much larger. Hopefully someday I can convince a chair or something more comfortable to sit on the fly for me.
