In typical dramatic teenage fashion, Robb is outside, emoing by the lake by pitching rocks at it, mouth set in a firm little line, eyes a little red but at least he's not actually crying. Just upset. Really upset. This morning? Has kind of sucked. And he has rope burns on his wrists. And isn't sure if he can go and consult his protectors yet, or ( Read more... )

Phedre walks by, notices Robb, the emo position, and remembers their conversation.

A quiet sigh later, her basket is on the ground, and she's sitting next to him.

Not a word, just quiet companionship, a listening ear and a hug readily available, if he wants them.

He looks up at her, miserably. "Good morning, Phedre," trying for perfectly ordinary politeness, look how good he is at it!

"Good morning, Robb," she replies, gentle and tender.

Without asking any questions, she opens her arms.

--he tries to hold onto dignity, but can't, really, and sinks into her arms with his head on her shoulder, own shoulders shaking, and the whole sorry tale spilling out of him incoherently.

Here's someone Robb hasn't seen in a while. Sugar is walking alone, for once - if we haven't seen her all that much, it's that she and Sophie have been spending more time together, mending their relationship.

She stands awkwardly at a respectful distance, and calls him, quietly.

"--- Robb?"

No matter what happened between them, she is still his friend. He stood by her in hard times, and she will stand by him in return.

He looks up, surprised, and then blushes, and nearly jumps to his feet. "Oh. Lady Sugar." Unquestionably subdued, even for him, though, his greeting understated.

"Just Sugar," she replies, subdued as well. Worry flashes across her features.

"It has been a long time," she says softly.

"It - yes. It has." Look, he can be totally normal. Sort of. He bites his lip, a little, hands twisting over each other. "Have you been well?"

L-lol.

Elia is walking about by the late, and sees a frowning teenager who is both frowning and a teenager. As is typical for someone whose children are recently dead, she wonders if she can keep it.

But pride keeps her from voicing this quandary, and so instead she asks, with little to no introduction, "Are you trying to skip them, or kill fish?"

Robb gets a little pathetic sometimes. He is a teenager still. Though he might be a little alarmed if Elia tried to take him home. However, he looks up at her voice, surprised, and then flushes, embarrassed, and too aware that his eyes reveal his embarrassingly emotional state. What happened to all his Stark stoicism? He wants it back. "I'm not particularly trying to do either, my lady," a bit stiffly, scrambling to his feet, "Only to occupy my hands."

Elia nods, not letting show concern or the fact that she's noticed his 'embarrassingly emotional state' out of respect for the boy. She only looks benevolently interested. "Are they particularly restless?"

"No more than usual," Trying to gather his composure, and he's not that bad at it, it just slips away as fast as he can find it. This is frustrating. "Though I suppose killing fish might at least be useful."

Jaime is brooding again, because apparently he wants to emulate Byronic heroes now that he's past his bishonen phase. Seeing Robb, whom he now feels very awkwardly about, he contemplates going on as if he never saw the boy in the first place, but. They haven't talked since he ...reanimated. And. He feels oddly almost responsible. The boy is obviously distressed.

He waits, lingering; if Robb does not wish to talk, he'll leave.

Robb is not aware of him for a while, too busy brooding seriously, but as usual Grey Wind is aware of Jaime and growls, baring his teeth. Robb grabs his ruff and doesn't turn around. Voice kind of deliberately flat even if it has a little quaver in it he can't quite help. "What do you want?"

Whyyy do people always have to turn up at times like this?

Typist: ....heeeee *glees* I was hoping to see you

Jaime could answer that so many ways. Instead, he asks, "Are you quite alright, boy?"

Subtle like a brick, that's Jaime.

...Robb kind of turns to stare at him, a little balefully. "...what's it to you?" Mouth a sort of stubborn little set, and as serious as ever, just - emoer than usual.

Cimorene likes the lake; it's far enough from home that she tends to migrate there on her walks. It's been awhile since she saw him, so he may be surprised that she's about five months pregnant. She seems mobile enough, though, and comes over to him. "Are you hurt?"

"No, I am," he says before looking up, and then is surprised to see that she is five months pregnant. That's a change. He blinks a moment, taken by surprise.

"--congratulations - I didn't know?"

"Oh." She touches her stomach lightly. "Thanks. But I'm more worried about you right now; you look a wreck," she says frankly.

He flushes, warmly. "Oh. I. Should I be insulted?" Trying for casual, really, even if it's hard. HIS HEART IS BROKEN.
