First of all, this was by far the WORST finale ever. Yawn.

Second of all, you're right. They pushed DC like crazy. How many times did you see DA perform last night. A big fat zero (unless I missed it while I was running out for one of many cigarettes, lol). It's been obvious for weeks that they wanted DC to win. Sigh.

AI is sooo fixed

Actually DA got to perform (and did amazing) and then he 'shared' a number with DC BUT they gave DC the 'starring' spot in the duet and he 'intro'd' DA with this hand gesture like he was bringing on a puppy.
They don't like DA's dad, the producers of AI didn't want to be bothered with a 'kid' under contract and they have pushed DC from the beginning. Hideous.
He slurs his lyrics till you can't even recognize the words. He BUTCHERED the Switchfoot song and Ashley was torn between tears and rage when he ruined the song from Phantom of the Opera and then tacked that hideous off-key rocker wail onto the end of it.
Just pathetic

Fixed, fixed, fixed! The best season was the one with Fantasia. It's gone downhill since then. Sigh.
