I'm really happy we were paired up for this gift exchange, I feel a hand of Destiny in this! Clearly, you have immaculate taste.
Before we talk about the specific requests, let me introduce you to my kinks (mostly copied from last year's letter):

Here you go, dislikes: mpregs, rape/non-con, gender swap, incest, feminization, kid fic, domestic kink, choking/asphyxiation, bad spelling, when people say "alter" but what they really mean is "altar" and het (unless it's there to subsequently lead to m/m slash). And though it may not seem like something that needs to be said, I'd also not like a death fic for Yuletide. I know, I know, I need Jesus.

1. Black Sails: Silver/Flint
Lord help me with these two! I adore them, no matter what they're doing, whether it be having conjugal discourse (i.e. gross bickering), killing people together (as couples do), or gayly and meaningfully looking into each other's eyes. Give me any and all these things! Have them talk about DARKNESS and then prove that DARKNESS = GAYNESS. Sex is a plus, obviously, but not a requirement. Any fix-it fics of the future (i.e. fuck off, Treasure Island!) or modern AUs in which they end up happy would be heartily welcomed. I just want them to be happy. You may torture them if you must, but in the end Please let them be happy.
2. Versailles: MonChevy
[SPOILERS FOR ALL OF SEASON 1]
Okay I have requested two fabulous assholes with great amounts of floofy hair and a love for... GETTING INTERRUPTED! UGH! I'm so angry that Louis always gets to finish but MonChevy always get interrupted! So, okay, dear Yule Goat, if you're so inclined, please let them FINISH (the sex, I mean). But there's so much more I want to know about them. They're a canonical historical couple who have been together since they were in their teens. What was it like when they first got together? Did the Chevalier really always love Monsieur or was there something else driving his desires, like the need to secure a position for himself at court? What was it like when Philippe found out he had to marry Henriette? In fact, I'd love to see something about their mutual relationship (Philippe/Chevalier/Henriette) because it must have been very complicated and it does seem like there was genuine affection between Philippe and Henriette despite everything else. You can ignore historical canon (the show did), but I'd love to read something about how the three of them actually made it WORK. Chevalier actually looks quite upset when Henriette dies: what did he really think of her? Bascially, I think Chevalier's POV would be really fascinating because I don't think the show gives us very much insight into it and he plays his cards close to the chest. Anyways AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! This show is so good! And they're so pretty! Okay. I'm fine.
3. Poldark (TV): Ross/Dwight
Basically, Dwight Enys is adorable and Ross has great chemistry with him. I also salute Dwight for saving Ross' face! It is a really good face. There is like no slash in this fandom, and I'd like to remedy that: take this information for what you will. The Doctor and the Captain seem to care for each other a great deal (*eyebrow waggle*), so feel free to explore that in whatever way strikes your fancy. If, however, you'd prefer to write Ross and George Warleggan hate-fucking, I would also not be opposed.
4. The Oresteia: Orestes/Pylades
Haha! I was so excited when I saw this in this year's tags! If you don't already know me, you're about to find out what a huge NERD I am when it comes to Greek Mythology. Mythological ships are so important to me, almost as important as historical ships <3 These two fools are grossly in love, you cannot deny this, it is AXIOM. Fighting on Tauris over which one of them gets to be sacrificed? Ewww, get a grip you two! (Okay I don't honestly even remember if that happens in Oresteia, possibly not.) But either way - Orestes alone is a really complicated and (IMO) tragic character. He's in an impossible situation. The gods are going to fuck him no matter what he does, and he must know this. He makes a horrible choice - to kill his own mother - and is punished for it with INSANITY. The gods are such dicks and they don't fuck around, not even a little. Pylades isn't given a whole lot to do in the Oresteia (if I recall correctly) but without him Orestes is doomed. He's there for the revenge murder and he's there for the fallout that follows. He is a Good Friend! I feel like his perspective on all these ridiculous goings on would be invaluable. What does he think about Orestes' crazy family? What does he think about the gods? And more importantly, how is he going to comfort Orestes when he's probably drooling and in a half-swoon from The Crazies? (Hint: sexually)
