Hi everybody!

Wow, this whole week's been a whirlwind of new places, and the fact that I am a minority being shoved in my face. Now, if nothing else, when I come back to America I think I'll be a lot more sympathetic to the people there who do not speak english. I live for the english subtitles that sometimes appear on signs

And here I am, stuck in Pullman, trying to keep myself busy at home and realizing just how few contacts I have in town. Chaz (going by "Marcus" now?) is in town, but we haven't gotten in touch yet. I might do something with Charley (surprise, surprise!), but he was out to dinner with his family when I called yesterday and hasn't called me back yet. So... I'm just chillin. Yep.

Hi from Mom! I find myself calculating the time of day where you are. It seems weird that we are almost never in the same day. Well, I think we are right now, as it's 2am here.

Erin was pretty ticked that she didn't get to go to the airport & Japan. I told her that we'll go in a few years...

We finally got summer this weekend! It's been in the 80s and incredibly nice. And you know what that means...time to mow the lawn again!

We went to see the Star Wars movie. It was quite horrible. I can't believe you didn't warn us not to waste our money! Jay took Erin to see Madagascar yesterday. He said that it was predicable and not much of a plot, yet still better than Star Wars!

So, how's your speaking Japanese coming along? Seems pretty intense. Do you think you'll be able to speak fairly well by the time you return?
