[city: park] Well I am death, none can excel

So things were alright with Connor again and she was thankful for that. He was one of the first people she'd met and he'd been so kind and sweet, she didn't want a rift to come between them over anything. Death still hadn't told him the truth and it hurt her a little. She didn't want to lie to him, but she was afraid of how he would react when he found out that the 'Death' in the contact list was her. That she was Death.

So, mind full of heavy, deep thoughts, she made her way outside, into the dark. She'd promised Rose that she'd be back later, and to not worry. What was to fear in this city? Especially if you were Death? The answer would be 'nothing'.

Making her way through the streets, she stopped at the fountain in the middle of the park, the spotlights making the water shine. The spray shone like diamonds and she sighed, moving to sit on the side. Untying her shoes, she pulled them off, then her socks, tucking them inside. Rolling up the pantlegs to her knees, she turned, dipping her feet into the water. It was pleasantly chilly and she wiggled her toes, smiling a little at the water rippling, making her feet look all wavy.

Alone with her thoughts once more, Death hummed quietly to herself, rocking back and forth a little as she dipped one hand into the water, swirling it around.
