So she left him to the experts and went around the van, hands shaking. She had seen some gruesome things, but there were some things you never got used to.
Around the other side, she could see through the hole in the wall and the girl who'd been hit by the van. "Are you alright?" she shouted, hoping she wasn't dead too.

Maybe it was more disorienting that...there wasn't anything different, except that now she stood outside of her body, and--she assumed--couldn't communicate.
It was worth testing. "Yeah...not so much."
