The new leader of the Nova Scotia Conservatives is a young whipper-snapper (34) named Rodney MacDonald who hails from Cape Breton. Under Hamm he was the minister of tourism. Minister of Tourism & Culture, at least back in the late '90s/early noughts. If you want to dislike him, he had a hand in dismantling the NS Arts Council (to be fair, though, they were one of the most inefficient arts councils possible - but their replacements aren't any better). By all reports, Rodney's a pretty nice guy. I don't know if that translates into "good premier" though.
