In a nutshell, there was this boy named Ezra Chatterton, who, for his Make-A-Wish foundation wish, got to go to Blizzard's offices, hang out with the developers, design a quest, etc. He passed away on October 20th. Ezra's character, Ephoenix was a hunter, and he was a fan of a blogger/podcaster
