Art: Setting Sun II
Ark was rather difficult for me. With the way I drew Oni, I needed to mature him too, though I'd been fine with the way I used to draw him XD; So was a little hard breaking out of that. And while Oni had been a clear picture in my mind, Ark wasn't so much. I didn't have Time's look defined yet, and it's harder to represent than Death.
You can see the differences between the sketch and the ink. The changes came from critiques that he was too plain compared to Oni. Much of which I hope to fix with colors, but had added some things. I'm hoping to use the same themes in the background like the first Rising Moon/Setting Sun to tie them together.
