A Day Without Internet Is Like A Day With Extra Hours.

It’s a well-known fact that television is better than Ambien, at least for me. With the exception of Jeopardy, all I need to do is sit down to watch a little something, and I fall asleep immediately, unless it’s a mystery or crime show, in which case I’ll make it until the last 15 minutes. There are episodes of some shows I’ve started to watch ( Read more... )

I'm totally with you on the Annie's Mac & Cheese. I'll certainly be shipping some to myself back in Bahrain before I leave the States. While I sadly cannot find their Mild Mexican version any longer, I can remedy it by dumping salsa into a pot of the regular kind.

The house looks lovely, I especially like the color of your curtains.

I can order the mac&cheese from the web site, but the frozen spinach souffle, well, it's either local or it's not. So sad.

The curtains are actually from my old place, and I think they were originally selected because they were on sale, but with the addition of a few throws in this living room, they work! Hurrah!

I'm so glad to see you posting again. I've missed your particular take on the world.

And I've always thought the entirety of New York was a sucky awful cement-laden hellhole. I have now be edumacated. Brooklyn seems like a really nice place.

Mind you, my take on Brooklyn is part of my quirky take on the universe, and not everyone likes it. There are so many different types of neighborhoods: some with perfectly preserved Victorian row houses, and other filled with hipsters and hipster bars. There are places near parks and others near water. Busy places and quiet places. Basically, we have enough diversity to keep everyone happy, or at least those who don't have a problem crossing the East River.

Mind you, we do have bridges; it's not like anyone has to swim.

All of which is more than you needed to know, and probably enough to make you think less of me as a person and a sex object.

Or enough to give somebody ideas. ;)

I know plenty of mystery writers, and no one has ever taken the challenge to come up with a good mystery with a cook, a priest, a locked room, a magician and an animal companion.
