Brown bags for Youth at Lilies anonymous April 28 2009, 03:38:54 UTC
I would like to offer two book-making bags, one for younger, one for older kids, to this project.

Sure. I don't really write much, most of the time, but then I occasionally am Posty Mc Posty.

Hi Eleanor greetings from Australia,I was interested in your article on the above, in 1993 I did a MPhil at University of Nottingham"The So-Called Anglo Saxon Work or Thread Boxes" ,there are 46 known in the UK from memory only 20% are decorated with a cross. As Marcus(1991) states"there is no different culture to distinquish Christians from there pagan peers, only religion;any attempt to invent one reveals itself as a disguise for what is simply a difference of religion"Good luck with your work. Kind Regards Tony Gibson

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about how many exist, and appreciate the details you've given. New paths to follow, of goody.

Hi, Eleanor! We've met (I'm Ki no Kotori in the SCA in Calontir, plus I'm a shipmate on the HMS Grindelsbane). I still use LJ (permanent account, might as well get my money's worth).
