i think we found the place we want. never before have i really cared about a view from a place i've lived in. but when we walked into this place, we really were impressed. HUGE windows (like 6 foot) in the kitchen and other common room, wide open space, tons of light. absolutely amazing view. fingers crossed that we get it.

what neighborhood? i'm doing some minimal looking on CL right now, my comprehensive move date is sometime next March but i'm noticing even a studio price is somewhat rediculous in the immediate hood.

this one is sort of on the hayes valley/lower haight/western addition ether ;) i've been able to find deals, depending on what you're looking for and whether or not you're trying to find a place by yourself...
