getting my wisdom teeth out was one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. three days after the surgery, instead of the pain decreasing, IT STARTED TO GET CONSIDERABLY WORSE. i started taking double the amount of vicoden, and it didnt even cover the pain, which just got steadily worse.. finally, on the fifth day where i thought i was going to die, i went in and i had 'dry blood socket', which means a blood socket dried up exposing all my bone nerves, i had to get this thing packed with this long strip of something that had cloves, so everything i ate or breathed tasted like ass, this went on for another whole week...... etc....

I had my wisdom teeth pulled about 3 or 4 years ago, and it was horrible! My face swelled up so bad, and my sister called me Chubby Cheeks and Her Little Chipmunk, and it was horrible. And I hardly ever take pain medicine for anything, so those huge horsepills they gave me just ended up making me sicker. And my mom took one of my dad's old soccer socks and filled it with ice, and then tied it around my face to help the swelling, which helped a little, but then I looked so stupid!

Anyway, I'm just mentioning this to say I hope you feel better soon! It's a truly horrible experience.

I also had to get my wisdom teeth pulled in 2001 (the 2 bottom ones) and it was during spring break; thankfully. and boy did my cheeks swell up so much. i couldn't talk or anything. it's such a pain i had to keep putting ice on my cheeks then i would freeze. but i had lots of ice cream =) lol.. for some reason, i never really took pain medication. i took it like a few times. it wasn't horrible. but i hated when they stitched it back up, cuz the doctor said it was suppose to dissolve but i was scared when he said that cuz sometimes it would just come out by itself and i thought that was bad. when they did dissolve, i was even more scared cuz i was like where'd it go? it's a very unpleasant experience. FEEL BETTER THOUGH!
