Love all your categories! Maybe I'll steal celeb crushes and chips because I never really keep track of stuff like that. I know for myself I never manage to keep up with default icons and such but I always love when people do it because it's so cool to have kept track at the end of the year :) Although as I wrote this I realized I haven't changed my default icon in years lol But well the thought still stands because I have tried to keep track of things like those.
I know it's really hard (I don't know if I'll manage myself, it's one of my 2016 goals :P ) especially if one's busy, in fact I've left out the desktops category since I change them way too often (usually I set the rotation option on) and it would be impossible to keep track.
I'm not the cheering fangirl I used to be a couple years back so I don't pay that much attention to ships or celebrities as I used to, but this is also a way of reminding myself to do so..;)
Hi!! *OMG I feel like a 15-year-old fangirl, the author of my currently favourite fanfiction is visiting my scrapbook* I wasn't even sure you had a LJ account! Congrats for your brilliant and successful work, I'm only at the beginning of Trust and Providence but I'm so happy to have discovered it because it helps me deal with the Downton Abbey nostalgia after finishing the show! It's like the story never ended! Thank you really!
A scrapbook is mostly stuff you experience and that is worth remembering at the end of the year :) You can take a look at my previous scrapbooks too if you like! You get to choose whatever categories you want, although some are widely used and to be found in almost all scrapbooks (such as movie- and book-related categories) but it's fun because mostly it's up to your personal taste :)
Haha, well imagine my delight in seeing my story in your scrapbook! Thank you for the mention, and I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Yeah, I read a ton of fanfiction after Matthew's death at the end of Series 3, and it made the grieving process so much more bearable. If I can do that for other people, yay. :) I welcome all feedback, including critique and suggestions for improvement, so feel free to speak up!
I like what you've done with your scrapbooks. It's a really nice way of marking your life, keeping links around to things you don't want to lose, recommending stuff to friends (and your future self), and seeing how much progress you're making towards your goals. Sometimes it can feel like time is passing and you haven't achieved anything, but a scrapbook like this says, "Nope! Look at all you've done and all you've loved!" :)
Well, that's definitely one romantic way to see it, although in fact I find ways to complain about me getting old and the time passing all the same :P
Will you put up your own scrapbook? We're still at the beginning of 2016 after all... If yes, let me know, I'd love to check it out :) Keep up the good work with the fanfiction, there's absolutely no critique I could put forward on it :)
