We brought her into a hospice last Friday. The oncology doc told us that they can't continue the radiation and chemo therapy because she's too weak. And the medical care she needs can't be provided at home, so the hospice was pretty much the only option. They took care of all the paper work and all, and we got a place on Friday. There's nothing more they can do but to keep her pain free and provide all the care she needs. And it's a matter of weeks. So now we visit as often as we can, keep our phones with us all the time, and try to function from day to day. She mostly sleeps, and has already trouble recognizing people, so... yeah.
