I've been a fan of them ever since I was very young (though I didn't go and purchase their entire discography myself until I was in my teens). :D
And yes, there ARE that good. They're just a level above every other musician to ever come. The only one I say closes a little bit of that gap (not very much, but a little) is Dylan. But, that's my opinion.
Oh, God, you listed your favourite songs per album... I don't know if I could do that. Maybe later when it's not so late.
You really should have told me to watch A Hard Day's Night or Help! sooner by telling me they involved adorably awesome people in suits with accents. Or picspammed them to me or something. Cause I would have been all up on that way sooner. >=(
I never listened to them when I was young unless it was on the radio or something. Paul and Ringo were really the only ones I knew about when I was little. I remember my mom liking some Wings stuff and then Ringo was the magical conductor, of course. I am ashamed to admit that if I had been asked who George Harrison was six months ago I probably would have drawn a blank. =(
I think the thing that makes them worthy is the fact that did all that and they only recorded together as a band professionally for less than a decade. That's a ratio worth some praise.
I honestly could have listed the entire album for several... >_>
