Yesterday was kind of a sad day for me. My mom told me that one of her students had died as a result of a car wreck. Any time a child dies it is extremely sad, but the circumstances surrounding this death make it even harder. So, I'm not sure if I've mentioned this, but I've been learning how to cook over the break. Last night I learned that if you're going to cook rice in the oven that it MUST be covered w/ tin foil or something. Otherwise, the rice just stays all crunchy and then that's not good.
