It is kind of a problem for me at least.  In the last 4-5 years, all of my sexual partners have been extremely submissive.  Don't worry.  This post is not going to be explicit or vulgar.  I am honestly just looking for input so if you see this, do not hesitate to comment or message me.  Be as open as you are comfortable in being.

I think open conversation about the subject with your partner is always the best solution. However, that will not always bring resolution. Some people are just inherently submissive and there isn't much you can say/do to make that change without causing a level of discomfort for your partner. If talking it through doesn't help then perhaps you should look for a new partner. In the end, sexual satisfaction is key (one of many things not the only one) to having a successful and happy relationship. This is really why I refuse to date vanilla anymore. It's not fair to my partner or to myself if I'm always wanting more or something they can't provide because it's not in their nature.
