I just got my acceptance letter from the study abroad program I applied for! Hello, Rome! It starts in exactly three months! I have so much to do! Like get a passport! I am excited! And also just a little bit nervous! Italy! Exclamation point!

you will <3 rome. and... like, ok, i know you're vegan and all, but just eat a small gelato just ONCE. dear god. the one place by that big church (hahahaha) had really good dark chocolate. also, look for grey or bluish banana flavor. that means it's home made, and if it's yellow or white it's from a mix.

By...the Vatican? Also, why would I want banana gelato if there's chocolate? Also, I hear there are several places in Rome that serve soy gelato.

no, not the vatican. it's... st. mary's? maria's? something like that. there's like a plaza and a tall spikey thing in it too. but really i think the best gelato i had was in siena, which is def. worth a day trip to. somewhere in here is sarah's map of rome. if i find that i'll tell you where it is.

but no, like, get the chocolate, but look at the banana, because if the banana is made from a mix then they probably all are, and visa versa. so like, yeah, look at the banana and then get the delicious delicious chocolate. ::craves gelato::

actually, i just went out for ice cream with audrey. we went to giant eagle, it was our second "date." (giant eagle is like kroger)

I love soy but damn, there's no point in going to Italy if you aren't going to eat a real gelato. Also, cheese. Maybe start a new rule that you're only vegan in America??
