Oh, great start! You write great inner dialogue for Jane. I can't wait to see what happens next. Looking forward to the next chapter! Oh, and really, really great writing for your first effort! You do Jane and Maura justice. :)

Thanks SO much! I was rather nervous about Jane's inner dialogue...I'm still a bit iffy with her characterization. I'm better with Maura, I think. But if you think its good, then great! :)

The POV will alternate between chapters, for the most part. If necessary to the storyline I may do two Jane chapters in a row, but we'll see.

Thank you! There will definitely be more, its just a matter of when. I'm hoping to get the second chapter done this week, in between finals and work. It would figure that I'd get scheduled to work twice as much as usual the week of finals AND right after I start a fic, haha. Anyway, the next chapter should be up sometime next week.
