we are doing this reading program for credits at school, and i am required to read a certain number of books of different assortments. i have only heard of many of these authors and i was wondering if you had read any of their works/have any recomendations of what i should read from this list. i'm not framiliar enough with classics, and because i ( Read more... )

oh, the decameron is a book of 100 humorous sex stories [nothing graphic] by giovanni boccccio. it's really very entertaining, i highly recommend it.

cervantes isn't too bad.

i happened accross your journal and read a few entries back. i just wanted to say that i enjoy your writing and also that latin, if you like language, is worth learning- or at least briefly studying. it's one of the more mathematical languages, but interesting none the less.
