i agree. People, its not that bad to have a holiday, "commercial" as it is, devoted to showing someone that you care about a little more attention than usual. I'm all over the theme of love. And if you aren't into the commercial aspect of valentines day, don't get them a phone or a diamond or whatever ad is popular... make a card, buy dinner, have a picnic. I'm with ya!

Word!! Chris made me dinner.
It was yumm. Something so simple and heartfelt is all it takes to make v-day awesome!

People that don't like v-day are like people that don't like getting head. If you just sit back, relax, and enjoy it's pretty dang fun!

You tell em, sister! Of COURSE valentine's day is silly and commercial and lame. Everyone who says how much they hate it acts like they're so damn revolutionary or creative or special. Fuck that! You don't have to like it, but it's the delivery that makes you sound like a tool!

Oh man, I totally agree. I think the whole anti-valentine's thing is so stupid...people that try to go against the grain and try way too hard are just douche bags.

The v-day hate posts are kind of getting to me, too. It's actually a lot of bitter married woman that are hatin' it on my f-lists. I love Valentine's Day, but with the crap that's been coming at us from every angle, it was hard to enjoy. :(

I'm glad you had a good v-day!! There is no reason to be bitter, like i said: someone always loves you no matter what.

Excellent! I totally agree with you. As a single gal who was dateless on Valentine's Day, I still enjoyed it! I mean, come on! A day designated to represent romantic love... how can that possibly be terrible? Promoting love is awesome! People are ridic.

"A day designated to represent romantic love... how can that possibly be terrible? Promoting love is awesome!"

EXACTLY! If you watch the news any other day of the year it's full of violence, I mean yesterday there was another massacre at a college! Why promote violent, hate-filled, BS like that? Why not promote love and caring? Not just for significant others, but family, friends, strangers...ANYONE! Everyone deserves to be loved.
