Over the past couple of days, I've uploaded all my Supernatural stuff to AO3. It turns out to be 21 stories, and over 200,000 words (quite a number of which I'd forgotten I wrote.)

I realise this pales in comparison to some folks out there, but for me, that's a lot of time and effort. Oh, Show. I do love you ( Read more... )

It always takes a lot longer than you think it will!
I really, really, really need to upload 'Changes' to AO3 but omg, i am dreading it.

The urge to *edit all the things*, for one....gah.

Heh, actually I meant that 200K of story was a large time investment! I have given more time than I could really spare over the past five years to this fandom (but I can't regret it.)

The uploading was pretty straightforward (except for one that didn't work out somehow and I had to do a bunch of manual coding.)

Have you tried the importing function on AO3? It works really well...

Yes, the upload function is fantastic! I wasn't very clear. I actually meant that 200K of writing was where all that time went. :)
