Now it will be Saturday at the earliest that she can go home. Yesterday they did another procedure to drain an abscess. What's next?

I'm back home

Since I no longer have a live journal of my own I'll post here on my sis's site. I'm finally home after nearly 2 weeks in the hospital. I'm feeling a lot better than I did a week ago but still hurting and pretty weak. It'll be a long healing process which includes another surgery in a month or so to put my colon back together. But once it's all done the doc says I will be back to normal - as normal as a gal can turn out after ending up in the hospital for 2 weeks due to belly full of poop and perionitis caused by a previous surgeon cautery-burning a hole in my colon. A near-death experience that according to all the experts is "just a risk of lap surgery". In other words: "sucks to be you" is what they are saying. No apologies - that would suggest guilt.
