Not too sure how much longer we'll be sticking the show out, to be honest; it would be nice not to be tired all the time... okay, less tired, and half of the reason i'm so tired right now is because I can feel myself getting the flu. The other half being because i'm probably stupidly anaemic.

I found a really great Deutsch - English dictionary on the internet. I love online dictionaries. More than I love Google Earth, I think. This one's awesome. It's one of those ones where you type in a word and there's about fifty billion possible outcomes including phrases and such, and soundbytes. And a random search. The first time I clicked random search it came up with "cultivate": anbauen, bebauen, kultivieren; "cultivated plant": Kulturpflanze; "cultivated mushroom": Zuchtchampignon; "cultural landscape": Kulturlandschaft. Which is really odd because I was writing the Icelandic yrkja landið - which pretty much means cultivate - all over my notes today. Work the land, work the land, work the land... the first effect of shortening the working day results from the self-evident law, that the efficiency of labour-power is an inverse ratio to the duration of its expenditure... anbauen, bebauen, kultivieren, dude, Das Kapital would be so much more interesting if I was trying to read it auf Deutsch.

Wasser and Straße are my favourite words in German. If I were to find a Wasser Straße in Germany i'd probably die laughing. Don't know why.

For the first time in my life, I feel like minestrone soup. Sorry; zum erstenmal ich fülle mit minestrone suppe.

I just watched 101 Reykjavík; it was bad, don't rent it. They make a big deal out of the fact that Damon Albarn wrote the score, but, the entire score is comprised of one really basic keyboard version of the first verse of The Kinks' Lola. Here's a picture of Damon Albarn's house in Reykjavík, from possibly the best blog on the whole internet.

It cost more than 1 million USD to build. Syndicate that mofo and you too can learn completely useless facts about Reykjavík on a several-times-daily basis. I don't know about you, but I am super excited about the midnight sun, and I get the feeling that this dude is going to make a great big deal about it. The day that shit hits my friends page I may just throw a party, cuz a few days ago there were some pretty rad photographs of a 9:30 afternoon. I mean, come on, that's awesome. Anyway.

Might watch Los Amantes del Círculo Polar tonight... "Otto and Ana are kids when they meet each other. Their names are palindromes. They meet by chance, people are related by chance. A story of circular lives, with circular names, and a circular place (Círculo polar) where the day never ends in the midnight sun. There are things that never end, and Love is one of them." BEST FILM SYNOPSIS EVER! Plus it's set in Finland. I can't imagine this film sucking.

And guess what I had to do in order to watch these DVD's... I had to dezone our DVD player. Which I did. It was a super covert operation. Give me a gun and fuckin' cast me as the next Bond girl already, M!

Goldfinger in German is Goldfinger.
